On facebook a lot of people have already made (and sold!) christmas things, so I thought I would make a start, I've got some ideas for christmas stockings, still a work in progress though...the little squares when they are finished will be hopefully be applique presents! I've got loads of fabric left so I might make some decorations for the tree as well!
I've spent the last two hours hand-quilting and I'm taking a short tea-break otherwise I will get fed up and they won't get finished!
all I need to do is decide what fabric for the lining, I think this vintage rose fabric I've used before would be a good match, what do you think?
Edited : just hand-stitched two little applique presents...fiddly little things!
and made a start on the hanging loop, braided of course!

oooo you are clever Josie, they are lovely. I think that lining would look great.
I'm going to bag up your fabric at the weekend - are you able to come over for it sometime?

Blimey, that time again :) I'm a bit late this year for changing from the goatee to full face. I may look a little different on the day. And have you seen the price of haircuts?
Tried to charge ME £18. Eighteen! Huff&Stuff, that chap just might find himself with something from Primark he couldn't hang to get his walnuts in, ne'er mind a satsuma.
Nice to see some decent Dickens Victroriama. You can stick something decent in those - Better than that pillow case rubbish. No style some people. Your stuff has some real class.
Polar Bear sends her love, Santa xx
yes, that time of the year again, thanks for saying they are classy, I always wonder when I'm making something new, I wanted them to look a bit different, one down and eleven more designs to go - (12 days of christmas!) say hello to Polar Bear :-)
love Josie x
