One Project A Month - March

Well I've lots of items in the middle of being made at the moment but what I've finished was only just an idea at 1am the early hours of saturday morning. It's my Mum's birthday this month and I'd ordered some engraved tea-spoons but it looks like they won't arrive in time, so to make sure she has a present to open and funds are a bit tight at the moment, I had two days of time (because it will be posted monday afternoon!) no money and lots of fabric...

anyway this is the design I came up with and here are lots of photo's I took as I was making it, the tea-pot table runner.

this is the backing fabric ( an old curtain!)

all hand quilted...
