One Project A Month - April

Well the weather is slowly getting warmer and hopefully spring is not too far away, the daffodils in our garden are still in bud, still plenty of time for sewing. Finished this lovely peg bag, the fabric is 'hearts and flowerpots' and it is lined in cream fabric with double coathangers so hopefully it won't blow of the washing line!

It is now for sale in my Etsy shop , there are lots of other items listed too, prices start from just £3.50 for fabric keyrings and going up to £39.50 for Boston Bags, which I think are quite reasonable considering I make one off hand-made items, maybe it is Royal Mail's recent rise in postage prices which is putting people off buying , I just don't know.

Anyway I've got lots of fabric in stock as well now, thanks to a generous donation of lined curtain samples from Natalie, which I collected over the weekend, four bin bags full, so I'm busy sorting them out at the moment, I've taken some photo's of the first two bags which you can see on my facebook page ( link on the right hand side of the page) ....

.... lovely quality fabric, only trouble is now I'm spoilt for choice for fabric, I can't decide what to make next, maybe this lovely clutch bag!
